My First Moleskine

This is my first Moleskine sketch book. I had a creative block for a long time after buying it, but I'm beginning to get back into the flow of it. Some of these drawings are stupid, some of them are serious. All of them are mine :)

so some of these drawings are silly, some of them are serious. All of them are mine :)

As you may know, watercolor was my preferred medium...

(these drawings are inspired by my trip to Hawaii in August 2011)

...then I found a mechanical pencil on the beach, and began sketching with it...

(this is a random statue at my favorite coffee joint :)

(this is an idea I have for painting a mural on a memorial bench for my grandmother)

...then I began to work with acrylics...

...so I made my very own Adventure Time character...

(and I am very inspired by Pendleton Ward's work, if you can't tell ;)

This one's a portrait of my boyfriend and me... He's got a beard better than the one I drew.
